Apple Watch SE Face ID Unlock

I can't setup the face Id unlock using the watch. With the latest updates and both devices connected and unlocked, when I try to turn on the setting on my iphone, after a minute or so, a message comes up saying watch can't be reached to try again. This has been happening for weeks.

Option "Unlock with Apple Watch" doesn't appear Hi! I dropped my iPhone X and Face ID stopped working. Service made diagnostic and said that repair is impossible due infrared camera failure. I want to keep this phone with me and desided to use Apple watch to unlock the screen when the watch on my hand. But, when i went to Settings -> Face ID&Passcode -> there is no option Unlock with Apple Watch. Probably there is a problem with Face ID and it's impossible to set it up. How can I solve this problem and use my Apple Watch to unlock screen? Thank you.

Face ID and passcode not showing in settings Hi. I am trying to set up my new Apple Watch to use Apple Pay and unlock with mask etc. however I don’t seem to have the setting ‘Face ID and passcode’ in my list under settings which is where it says I need to switch on the Apple Watch setting. Apple Phone 11 and Apple Watch 8.3 Thanks
