If you are basing that on the fact that other devices are working then that isn't a proper verification. Also be aware that Apple's services do not adapt to the connection like others and also have a higher data rate.


Check speed test to see what current internet connection is being received.

If using wifi try ethernet

To see a current status of the network get a report using istumbler, netstumbler or similar. Look for signal strength, noise, nearby networks.

Other content working doesn't rule out the network. Proper investigation would be required as above. As for the free offer, a watch isn't a qualifying device.

I am having the same issue. I tested the speed on the tv and it’s at 150mb, so plenty of speed.


this stopped working about 2-3 weeks ago. I can watch previews etc... However when the show try’s to load I keep getting the error.


I have reset the Samsung TV and reinstalled Apple TV.


my work around is to stream it from my iPhone, but I don’t want to keep doing that.
