Steps on Apple Watch not Syncing to Health App

Two days ago, my Apple Watch stopped properly syncing with my Health App on my iPhone. This turn effects my Noom and calories I’m allowed for the day and also my health app through my insurance which gives $$ back. Ive tried all the accessible fixes online with no success (turning on and off data sharing on the phone and the watch.)

My iPhone is iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 14.4.2.

My Apple Watch is an Apple Watch SE, watchOS 7.3.3.

This kind of defeats the purpose of the watch if I have to manually update my steps in 3 places.

Anyone have any fixes?

I have the same issue with iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 3. I've tried powering both off, unpairing and repairing and nothing is working. The two are still 1000-1500 steps off with Apple Watch being accurate and Apple Health lagging .

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
