The timer on my iPhone X no longer sounds an alarm/notification when the timer is complete. It seems to be an ongoing issue...I restarted the phone two days ago and the timer worked for a day. Today I used the timer and it counted down, but didn’t make a sound when the timer finished. Is anyone else having this issue and is there a permanent fix?

Is your iPhone update to iOS 14.5?

With the Timer, what sound are you using when Timer ends?
I have set to "Radar" and is working.

Updating to 14.5 didn’t have any effect on the problem, nor did the forced restart. I did switch the tone back to the default radar, and the timer is working again. Odd that changing the tone would cause the hiccup.

I tried the force restart the other day and it did work when I tested the timer. Today, however, it’s back to being unreliable. I’m downloading 14.5 now and will give that a try. Typically I use chimes as the sound for the end of the timer. Thank you for the reply.
