Google drive not syncing on MacBook pro

So in the past ie the last few months, I could create a file or folder within the google drive app or online then it would show in my google drive folder on my mac. And visa versa. This no longer seems to work. I've been through countless searches and recommendations but nothing seems to work. Anyone else having this isse?

Hello Thelounger,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, Google Drive isn't syncing on your MacBook Pro. We'll do our best to assist.

It sounds like Google Drive isn't syncing properly with your Mac. If that's the case, we'd recommend to first disable any connected VPNs or anti-virus software, restart your Mac, and test it out.

Should it persist, check for any available updates for Google Drive using the Mac App Store. According to the Mac App Store website: App Store - Google Drive The current version is 4.2021.16202.

Also, this might solve it for you: Fix problems syncing to your computer

If these don't solve your issue, then we'd recommend to contact the developer of the app for further help: Google Drive Help

Wishing you the best, take care!
