Attaching Sony DCR TRV17 (minidv) to macbook pro (2019).

I could really use some help. I have the Sony minidv as mentioned in the subject. I would like to connect it to my Macbook Pro (it only has two thunderbolt ports). Ultimately, I'm trying to get the minidv's that I've recorded over the years, into my macbook pro so I can upload them to youtube. But, I have NO idea how or where to start. I would really appreciate any help that someone can give me. How do I connect the Sony DCR TRV17 minidv to the Macbook? And, once I do that, what software should I use to transfer the minidv content to the macbook so I can upload to youtube?
