Can't send MMS message to an Android phone

For some reason I can't send any MMS message to an Android phone. I can send them to myself from the Mac and from my iPhone, but not to another Android user. Having cellular data turned on is not the issue, since it doesn't work even with that on, and it shouldn't require that anyway; Wi-Fi should work.

T-Mobile says it should work, but with cellular data turned on, not Wi-Fi; but as I proved to them that doesn't make any difference in the result, they seem to be out of ideas.

Why is it so hard to send MMS to Android phones when it works perfectly fine for iPhones, and how can this problem be solved?

fox256,

Do you have a previous message conversation with this contact? If so, try deleting the message conversation and starting a new one.

In addition, you may want to try deleting the contact from your iPhone and adding them back again.

Hello fox256,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We understand from your post that you are unable to send MMS to an Android phone. Does this happen with all contacts that are not using an Apple device or to only one contact? This article has steps you can take when you cannot send message which you may find helpful:

fox256,

What you are describing sounds like this contact's messages are being blocked. Have you checked to see if their contact shows Block this Caller or Unblock this Caller? If it shows Unblock this Caller tap it and then try having them send you a message again. This article has information on how to block contacts but the same steps can be used to unblock contacts as well:

Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Also have them check their Android device to see if they have inadvertently blocked your contact.

Regards.

So far as I know, it's happening only to the one confirmed Android user that I know. They can't send anything to me, and I can't send anything to them, and it makes no difference whether or not I turn on cellular data. They have no problem sending MMS to other people they know, most of whom I'm sure are using Android phones, but even though their phone shows the messages being delivered to me, I never see them.

Everything is setup correctly on my phone, so that's not the problem. T-Mobile can't seem to figure it out, and these are their own settings.
