the login options I selected for my macbook are not working.

I have two different users on my MacBook. But every time I turn on my computer only displays the sign in screen into the last user that was open and does not allow me to switch. I changed the login options in "Users & groups", but it keeps doing the same thing. So every time I have to get into the user that is not mine, then click log out and sign in to my session.
