Home pod Siri voice volume

I am constantly asking Siri to lower its voice volume, but on the next request it is back to full volume. Is anyone else having this issue?

Siri's volume is related to the media volume. Any attempt to set Siri's volume independently resets. I suspect this is a feature idea that Apple haven't fully implemented. Use Feedback - HomePod - Apple to let Apple know how you think it should work.
