Audible app crashing on iPhone

I have an iPhone SE with software fully updated as of 4/30/21. The Audible app keeps crashing after one minute. I tried the solutions suggested in other post (settings>privacy>disable media and Apple Music, but that 3rd option does not appear in my settings. I do not see the option to disable or manipulate media/Apple music in any form. If this has something to do with Audible repeatedly asking if I want to access (Apple) Books (and I don’t want to), what is the workaround. And AUDIBLE - what’s your problem? An app that needs to be repeated uninstalled and installed is a faulty app.
