Cannot watch iTunes purchase on LG TV

Cannot watch iTunes purchase on LG TV.

I have always been able to watch my iTunes purchases on my LG TV, and the TV before that. Today I purchased the most recent episode of the blacklist and get an error message saying I must watch it on an Apple device. I can still watch everything else in my library on the TV. What gives?
