For a while now, on our Iphone 8 (version 14.4.2), I've been getting tremendously loud notifications, even though the volume is at minimum.
Notifications from different apps (Whatsapp, Messenger, SMS,...) come in very loud, and this is very annoying.
What can be done about this?

We understand that the notifications on your iPhone are very loud and are not affected by the volume settings. You can set the alert volume separate from the volume settings for the iPhone. Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringer And Alerts. You can adjust the alert volumes there and also select to have the alert volume to change with the volume buttons on the side of the iPhone or not.
Get back to us if this doesn't affect the volume of your notifications and we can go from there.
