M1 Mac Mini won't Shut Down

I select "Shut Down" from the Apple Menu. The M1 Mac Mini shuts down and the front light goes off, but then about 5 seconds later the computer starts up again. I then tried to Shut Down from the screen where it asks to enter your password to log in. Same problem - shut down followed by auto restart.

M1 MBP stuck entering recovery mode I'm having an issue entering Recovery Mode that I haven't been able to find any info on anywhere else. When I try to boot from recovery mode (hold power button until choices are presented, choose Options and press continue), it presents a list of languages to choose, and when I pick English and hit the right arrow button, it just freezes. It'll beachball a few times, but mostly just sits there doing apparently nothing. It doesn't show any sort of progress window or anything, it stays on the language selector. The only way out of this seems to be holding the power button until it shuts down. Does anybody know how to fix Recovery Mode here?

Keyboard and trackpad stop working after upgrade to Ventura 13.0.1 After i upgraded my macbook pro M1 14" to Ventura 13.0.1, the keyboard (external Apple bluetooth keyboard as well as the built in one) and some functions of the trackpad and Bluetooth mouse stop working. If i restart the computer, they resume working for a short time but inevitably fail again regardless of what software I am using. The issue appeared immediately after upgrading to Ventura and no other updates are available.

macOS Ventura flickering screen I updated my Macbook Air M1 to Ventura on Monday 24 Oct. Within a few hours my screen started to flicker. I rebuild the machine using a USB drive (Create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support) After a few hours it started again. I notice this happens when I am using IntelliJ Idea Ultimate. Has anyone else encounter this issue? Perhaps when doing something that will use up a lot resources? I don't mind going back to Monterey I just hate the long process of rebuilding/setting up a machine.

I tried unplugging various devices from the port expander connected to the USB-A port and found that when I disconnected an external SSD the computer was able to shut down properly.

Try this > Shut it down, once it’s shut down then unplug it for ~30 seconds, plug it back in, wait ~15 seconds, and boot.
