Why do Voice Memos not sync to my iMac?

After installing latest software to all devices, my iPhone 7 no longer "Syncs" my Voice Memos to my Desktop. I record quite a lot of "Atmos FX tracks" on location and rename them to be able to "File and Index" later in post production.

When I sync by cable the m4a files do not appear. However if I share by pressing the ... tab they do appear using a numeric file Extension number and NOT the renamed Title I have given them. Then I can't locate them correctly as my renamed Title does not appear.

Given that Apple is such an iconic standard in Broadcast Media, I'm astonished their software isn't more professionally logical to use!
