iMessage Camera

Hello everyone,

After I launch the message app, the camera will turn on, in turn running the battery down very quickly. Essentially, the messages app always turns the camera on, even though there is no reason for the camera being on. I need to make my sessions short, or else I will run out of battery. Does anyone know how to stop this/experiencing similar issues? Thanks for any help in advance!

Greetings diodes123!

Looks like you are running into some trouble with your iPhone's camera turning on while sending Messages. We are happy to help! For this issue we recommend updating the device first to the latest iOS version: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Since this issue is occurring in a default app on the device, updating can be greatly beneficial.

We hope that helps! Take care.
