all my apps and features are non responsive. When I click on them they do not respond

my screen is blurred out. when I tap on it it shows all my features but when I try to open anything it is locked up. when I click on messages, it shows me nothing. cannot call out either. will not allow me to shut phone off and retart

Try the above procedure that I listed accurately if you have not. If that does not work then-

Follow the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
