My iPhone won’t stop glitching

Ive had this problem for a while now, but recently it’s gotten more difficult. I have an iPhone 13 pro max, I got it straight from the Apple store. It will randomly freeze, show a black screen with the loading symbol, shut down for a couple seconds, and then go to my Home Screen. When I unlock my phone, almost all of my apps are invisible and I can only see the notification symbol on them. This used to only happen once in a while, but now it happens all day everyday. I’ve tried shutting down my phone for a few minutes, but it only stops the glitching for a couple minutes before it resumes. Sometimes it’ll stop the glitching for a couple hours though.

This also affects my messages. I’ll see the notifications and when I open them, they don’t appear. They will show up hours after, even if I have wifi or data.

im planning on going to the Apple store soon, but does anyone have any advice until then?

Have you enabled Scheduled Summary?

Settings > Notifications > [Select the App that you are having trouble receiving immediate notifications]

See the pic below for a few examples. Please select immediate delivery.

Go to Settings and tap Notifications. Select an app under Notification Style. Under Alerts, choose the alert style that you want. If you turn on Allow Notifications, choose when you want the notifications delivered — immediately or in the scheduled notification summary.

Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

  1. Restart the device. That's it.
  2. Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
  3. Follow the Apple article to resolve the issue --> If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen ...
  4. If not resolved; please follow the steps in the following link for support with this issue: If your iOS device restarts or displays the Apple logo or a spinning gear unexpectedly

  • You still see a black screen after charging, force restarting, following the steps in this article.
  • You see a black screen, but you can hear alerts, sounds, and vibrations.
  • The screen remains black, but the device chirps when you unmute it and connect it to power.
  • Your screen is on, but it doesn't respond when you tap, slide, or try other gestures.
  • You can't force your device to restart because a button is broken or stuck.
  • Your device is stuck on the Apple logo, displays a solid color, or isn't recognized in iTunes.
