iPhone 12 is making calls on its own.
My new iPhone 12 pro max is making calls on its own. This seems to occur when I place the phone down on a flat surface potentially barely touching the screen. This morning at 6:21 am, I was listening to CNN using the CNN app when I placed my phone down, face up. A few seconds later, the audio cut out and I glanced at the phone to find it was making a call to my wife. I was shaving at the time and did not utter a single word to activate the call. This has happened 4-5 times now, since getting the new phone. A search on the internet, including the Apple Communities, reveals that I am not the only one. The answers to the delemma make no sense. This is either a software issue, a hardware issue or both. Apple really needs to investigate why this is happening. I am a reliable tech-savvy guy and this issue needs to be taken seriously and addressed.
