iPadOS 14.5 Audio Skipping and Glitching

does anyone know whether it will do anything to do a clean install or whether it is basically due to the iPadOS? Can a fault in the hardware be ruled out? Thank you for helpful testimonials! I have now returned my iPad Air 4 for the first time because the audio error is an important function for my areas of application.

I have now returned my iPad Air 4 for the first time because the audio error that occurs means that I cannot use the audio applications that are important to me with the headphones.

I am simply using a USB-C to USB-2 cable and allowing Ecamm Live to recognize my iPad 4 as a "Source device". The audio GLITCH every 20 -30 seconds continues. I have tried all ideas presented in these discussions. In other words the solution that has worked for some (can't mention or my comments get deleted) - did not work for me/my setup.

As a long time apple user and professional musician using my iPad for performance, I can’t believe this problem has went on so long. A completely absurd situation rendering the iPad useless for the reason I bought it. I’ve had to switch to using my phone and a lightning to headphone adapter. Great job apple, and thanks for the timely problem solving…

I hope they don’t expect us to wait til 15 officially releases to get a fix.

The bug itself is bad enough but Apple completely ignoring it is absolutely terrible. So many of us have been unable to properly work on our devices for months now and haven’t been given any hope of it being fixed. Disgusting.

I have two adapters(Βοth are usb c + 3,5mm audio to usb c) . The satechi was fine till yesterday and now there is no audio neither power . I bought a belkin and it’s coming no sound from it, only charging . I ve updated to 14,7 and said that have a bug fix exactly for this but it isn’t working again. What kind of issue is this? Can we get some help from someone?

I have updated to 14.7 and I can't tell if there is a glitch present still or not because I haven't tried listening to audio with headphones, but i'm bummed to know it's still present on your device after updating. It *does* need attention.

Hi again. Last night it worked perfectly fine for a couple of hours, today there is no sound from the audio adapter, neither of them. I am on iPad Pro 11” M1 and I think this that is totally unacceptable for the price range of the pro.

So I just sit here and w8 for another update? Or I go buying again other adapters that may work?

Dear, Apple company, these kind of issues souldnt even exist. What is going on? I understand that this may be a very strange issue to even fix it but can we get some attention?

Likewise....the 14.6 update did not help....in fact, I think it's actually WORSE now in 14.6.....sigh.

Scrub that 14.6 does not fix 3rd Gen iPad Pro. The glitching went away for a few hours and is back again now.

Yes I have this exact problem on my iPad Air 4, worried I’ll break my ear buds from constantly plugging in and out.
