airpod case button not working

the green light just goes out when i hold the button to reset, anyone else having this problem?

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your AirPod Case and the Green LED light. The green light means the AirPods are fully charged. If you are wanting to reset the AirPods, you will want to put the AirPods in their case > close the lid > wait 30 seconds > then open the lid. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and tap the "I" icon next to the AirPods and tap on Forget This Device and tap again to confirm. Back to the AirPods With the lid open, press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until you see the status light flashing amber. You are now ready to pair the AirPods to your phone again.
