4K @ 24Hz - Apple TV

What happened to my ATV's 4K 24Hz mode? I used to be able to find it in Settings, but now refresh rates only go down to 30Hz.

Has anyone else noticed this or found a work around?

An example of why this is an issue, aside from the most obvious one which is that films are shot and (should be) viewed at either 24 or 23.976 frames per second (in the USA), is that the HDMI 1.4 spec only allows for full 4K (4096 × 2160) content at 24Hz.

Use Match Frame Rate to have Apple TV send 24 fps sources as 24 fps to the TV, if supported.

Why do you limit yourself to HDMI 1.4? Apple TV 4K is HDMI 2.0. 4K HDCP (v2.2) is not available on HDMI 1.4 or earlier, thus HDMI 2.0 is required for commercial sources from external devices.
