Unable to Verify Account Information

My iPhone 7 has randomly stopped working with my outlook email account. It was working fine until a couple weeks ago when I noticed it wasn't updating my inbox. I tried to delete the account and add it again, but once I deleted the account it won't add back. Whenever I try to add my account, I get the error alert: "Outlook Account, Unable to verify account information." Strange because I'm still able to access my email from the browser on my phone, and I have other accounts used for school/work which are still logged in and updating fine, as well as an older outlook account which I now just use for junk mail. I'm running iOS 14.4.2 on iPhone 7, two-factor authentication for the outlook account is turned off. Any fixes?

Remove your email account and set it up again

Make sure that all of your emails are there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap the email account that you want to remove. Tap Delete Account.

  2. Make sure your device is connected to the Internet.
  3. Check with your email service provider to find out if there's a service outage.
