MacBook Pro won’t charge and us showing the battery icon which flashes then disappears.

Have you tried a different power source or are you able to test with another charger?
If so, and the issue remains we recommend starting with the steps here: If your Mac battery won’t charge
This includes steps for an SMC reset.
