password problem with two

I have two Apple IDs, and the system is giving me problems with my passwords. How can I intentionally sign in with one Apple ID, change its password (to be noted in my password book) and then sign in with the other Apple ID to change its password to something else (also noted in my password book).

If you know the password.

 Apple ID Password Change.

What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support     I suggest doing this before you change your Apple ID or password.

If you forgot the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification  email option if necessary.
