Siri not working with Homepods.

Suddenly, I no longer have the ability to use Siri to access my Apple Music subscription. Previously< I was able to say 'Hey Siri, play the Beatles" and I'd automatically access a Beatles playlist. Suddenly, this functionality disapeared.

I had a 2 hour Tech session last night with Apple and the Tech ( great individual btw) was at pains to say Apple is aware. I encountered it trying to use Siri via my HomePods. For the last 2 years, I was able to interact with Siri to play music from either Apple Music ( to which I subscribe) or from playlists on my Mac. Suddenly, a day ago....the functionality disappeared. All I get is a response saying that it couldn't find any music by .....The Beatles, INXS, Queen et al. Asking ' Hey Siri, Play Music I like' didn't work either. I can stream music to the Homepods via my iPhone, iPad or Mac.....but that isn't what I want. Apple has dropped the ball on this......Hey Siri has been problematic since it's inception and inferior to the Google technology. This is a major flaw....and needs to be fixed quickly.

Presumably this was a temporary glitch. If it is still happening I'd suggest rebooting your router and your HomePod.
