Apple pencil battery drain problem

Hi Everyone,

I have recently bought Apple pencil 2 from Amazon warehouse deals. My question is, after charging pencil to 100 % then I kept in my pouch for the rest of the day (approx. 1 day) the battery went to 0 % when I tried to use it the next day. Is it the same story with your pencil or am I the only one facing this Issue?

Note: My pencil 2 is connected to Ipad via Bluetooth even if not in use (this might be a reason?)

• Should I return Pencil 2 (which I bought from warehouse deals) and buy a new one? or should I buy any third party pencil (I only use pencil to take notes)? what will you suggest?
