Siri can’t find songs or artists on Apple Music. “I can’t find XXX on Apple Music”

We have an Apple One subscription with Apple Music. In the last week or so, I noticed that our Home Pod can no longer perform functions like “Hey Siri, play some Madonna” (or any other artist name or song name). The Home Pod responds “I didn’t find any music by Madonna on Apple Music”.

After several hours with 4 different consultants, Apple Support is aware of the problem and their engineers are working on it.

It looks like the engineers at Apple fixed the problem. Without any further action on my part, the system (Hope Pod, and 5 different iPhones) started working again 48 hours later. Hope it works for everyone else too!

Hi dshad,

thanks for the information, it looks like there could be a problem with your account(s) as when looking for information Siri could be coming up with an error, you are already in the correct place with apple support and the engineering teams they have there.

Please do keep us posted on the fix

Same here. All my HomePods won’t play any Hey Siri requests. My phone will, but only if I request artists that I already have on my phone. So strange. Hopefully fix coming soon.
