MBA M1 with BigSur up to date, all worked like a charm until today when either hot corners either right click stop working randomly. I have to close the lid, wait a couple of seconds and they start working ... or I restart the system.
Any idea how can I fix this ? No software was installed ...

No, I have it setup to click/tap bottom-right.
The option is checked, but suddenly it stops working.
When it stops working, option is still checked. I uncheck and check still not working.
Only way to make it work again is by restarting / putting computer to sleep.
PS: I'm beginner with mac but proficient in windows ... I checked everything before making the post

could you give me more information on how you use the trackpad? are you using two-finger to right click?
Thx but this is not a solution. As I mentioned, it's not the first time when using a laptop ... trackpad is clean and as I said, it comes back if I put computer to sleep ...
So this has happened before from others?
my reason for asking you to do so is if there is static on the reach pad this could confuse it and stop it picking up your finger.
