Accidentally deleted user on Mac. Can I restore the user or the data on my hard drive?

Accidentally deleted my 5 years of works please help 😭 I created new user on mac and logged in with it. And somehow out of nowhere stupid me decided to delete the original user (which had all my works), then I immediately released what I have done and force quit process while the user account was getting deleted. I googled and found out that I can restore the files from “deleted user folder” but I cannot find that folder (maybe because of the force quitting) and I also tried to restore the files by “diskdrill” software but still no luck. Can someone suggest me different method? I am really in deep trouble.

Restore User after fresh wipe and OS install G’day. I want to do a wipe and fresh OS install on my old MacBook Pro SSHD. I’m wondering the best, most reliable way to back up the user folder, then restore it after the process. Is it as simple and copying to an external then copying it back in the same place? I have a tendency to overthink so asking here, lol Cheers.

iMac data recovery On re-installation of OS by the designated workshop, I need to recover data from my previous Apple ID account. How do I log in with Apple ID, sign in tab in System Preference - Users & groups does not appear. Recover data ( photos ) from the computer? Really possible? Thanks Singh
