I manage the phones for our company. For company data purposes, I create an apple id for each user when I set up their phone. Apple is now telling me that my phone number and credit card have bee linked to too many apple id's and wont let me use them any more. I don't understand why that should matter. I would like all the iCloud accounts to bill to the same card. the trusted number lets me access their account to cancel iCloud when their employment ends.

You need to get enrolled in Apple Business Manager so that you can create managed IDs for your staff instead of just a bunch of IDs tied to your phone number and credit card.

This just wasted 3 hours of my time. a mAnaged account through aPple business manager will have only 5gb of iCloUd stOrage and there is no way to increase that. tHe user will also have no access to the app store or the ability to enter a credit card. Good job apple, I hate you even more today.
