AirPods disconnecting on calls after Phone 12 iOS 14.5.1 update

I have iPhone 12 mini and EarPods pro. Have used EarPods with my other iPhone as well and for a year had no problems or issues, every just worked. After the last update to ios14.5.1 the keep disconnecting every time I have a call. That includes WhatsApp, Skype, discord. No problem when listening to musing but the moment I want to talk to someone they go crash disconnecting and reconnecting every minute. Please help!!!

This didn’t work. I’m so ****** at this point. What did they add to the Bluetooth software to render these AirPods useless?

This has been happening on my discord calls, have they fixed it yet? I have AirPods Pro and an IPhone 7 but it’s up to date
