My wife usually leaves her ipad pro plugged in overnight and lets it charge to 100 percent. Will this have an effect on the battery? Is it ok to leave it plugged in even after it has been charged to 100 percent.

It is safe to let it charge over night. It will not overcharge, nor will it damage the battery. I do it all the time....
