Surely I’m not the only one that thinks having to pay for Apple TV the show you want to watch is abit much ?

Correct me if I’m wrong. I’ve only just gotten Apple TV so I am new to it all but surely that’s not right having to pay a monthly subscription + whatever shows you choose to watch ?

Hi Imustjustbepoor,

If you mean to films etc not in the apple tv + subscription yes you will need to rent or buy these.

Apple TV + is like Netflix only what is on Netflix can you watch with the subscription fee

The subscription is specifically for Apple TV Plus, which only contains Apple originals. Of course you would have to pay for content that is outside of that, which is offered through the iTunes store and requires a separate fee for rental or purchase.

There is a tab for Apple TV Plus along with a tile under search and an icon under the channels section in the TV app. This will ensure you are navigating to the section that showcases solely what is available with that service.
