New watch

Hi I’m receiving an Apple Watch tomorrow and I read that the delivery guy will set it up but the watch is a gift ? How does that work ?

I have never heard of that. You really cannot setup the watch without a pairing it to the owners iPhone. Normally here is what the new owner should do:
