Remove app purchases/downloads

Is there any way to completely erase app purchases/downloads that won’t ever be needed again or was downloaded/purchased by someone else (kids) and don’t want them on account at all? Can only seem to “hide” them but want to get rid of them completely from my account.

You can't delete items from your Purchases History. Hiding them is the only option.
