I’m having trouble downloading the Blood Oxygen App on the Apple Watch. When i open the app on the App Store on Apple Watch it says I need an iPhone, and when I look up the app on my iPhone it says the app will only download on my Apple Watch. It’s a vicious endless circle
The Blood Oxygen app is sadly ONLY available on the most recent Apple Watch.
It got taken out at some point? The counter part on the iPhone is the Health app, so perhaps something is amiss with that.
Have you tried restarting both devices?
Is there any trace of it from the past, if you check in the Health app, under Summary > Show All Health Data?
I don't think so. I don't see anything related to blood oxygen. I think when I first got the watch last year it wasn't available. There was no option to set this up when I originally did it. Now I get an endless loop of install on watch, but then the watch says something about it being a premium something and open on phone....
i just went back and there is a category for blood oxygen in the health app but no data. There is a lung icon so not sure that this relates the the native app.
I have the same issue and I haven't been able to find anything online to help me correct it.

I finally spoke to one of the representatives and he informed me the reason why I can’t download the Blood Oxygen app is because I don’t have the latest APPLE WATCH 6, (released last year in September 2020). I had just gotten a new one in August because mine wrote and I was convinced it was the latest series. Alas, it wasn’t so, I won’t be able to use the blood oxygen up until I upgrade my AW again.
So that’s the end of the mystery for me, hope you guys can solve yours.
