I reset my iphone 7 to zero using erase all as I am about to sell it. My pushhome button does not work wherefore I used the digital home button.
now after the reset, the phone wants me to push the home button (which does not work) to get started and my digital home button isnt visible as it liklely disappeared in the reset.
Great if someone knows how to resolve?

You can not repair a not working home button on iphone 7 without a major overhaul which makes it cheaper to buy another phone.
