Iphone XR stuck on Apple Logo Loop

I plugged in my iphone to charge and set it down and then it suddenly shut off and is now stuck on the Apple Logo loop. It still had more than 10% battery life, so it was not the battery causing it to restart. I don't really know what caused it.

I've tried the Force Restart method of quickly pressing and releasing the Volume Up, quickly pressing the Volume Down, then holding the side button until the logo disappears and reappears, but it continues to loop on the apple logo.

I've tried connecting the phone to my laptop, but nothing confirms it actually connected, so I don't think its connecting.

Is there another way to hard restart the phone?
