IPhone 12 touch input not responding

Hi Folks,

My new iPhone 12 is having intermittent problems. The touch input is not working after the screen is locked. Face ID unlocks my phone but then I can’t swipe. I can input my passcode.

my phone is in a wallet case but with no screen protector. I thought apple had fixed these issues in previous updates?? I shouldn’t have to lock my phone twice just to use it lol.

Unresponsive iPhone touch screen i have iPhone 13 and whenever I lock the phone using the side button, the touch screen becomes unresponsive and I am not able to get out from Lock Screen using the swipe. If I let the phone auto lock after 30 seconds the phone screen is responsive to swipe after the faceid unlock. When phone is unresponsive the only way to fix the issue is to restart the phone using up/down volume and power button. This is very strange and happens only when the side lock button is pressed.
