Apple Wallet not opening

I’ve recently upgraded to an iPhone 12 Pro a couple of days ago, and everything works fantastically except for the wallet - even though I have enabled double click to open when locked in Settings, this does nothing; I have added a widget to the control centre, and if I press this button when the screen is locked, it asks to unlock the phone, does so - but nothing happens; if I hold the phone near a reader the Wallet doesn’t pop up either; I have to manually unlock the screen, open the wallet app, then proceed. It works when I do it this way, but it just seems oddly specifically faulty - any ideas? Thanks!

Which version of iOS are you running on your iPhone? You can see this at Settings > General > About. We'd want your iPhone to be at our current release, iOS 14.5.1. If it is not, here is how you can update: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Do you use a case or cover with your iPhone? If so, we'd like you to test if the issue persists without the case or cover.
