Wrong Tracking Number

Has anyone experienced Apple giving them an old, used tracking number before? I ordered a new watch yesterday and it shipped out today. I paid extra for expedited shipping which should have had the watch to me by Wednesday (May 12th).

The email I got from Apple says that it will be delivered next Monday (May 17th) so that's a bummer, but the icing on the cake is when I try to track it I get this:

They've clearly provided the wrong tracking info. I called Apple and they said someone will get back to me within 3-5 business days to let me know what is going on, which I find absolutely ridiculous.

So basically I paid for fast shipping, and my email said that although it's expedited it's still going to be five days later that the original estimate, I also have no way of tracking the package to even see if it'll be delivered on time. To make things worse, they are going to get back to me after the package was supposed to be delivered in the first place. What is happening to this company!?

Sorry to hear! I would say it's best to take that offline and handle the case directly with Apple and the carrier. This is just a user community.

To answer your initial question though, I have to say my experiences regarding shipments from Apple have been totally the opposite so far. Typically the shipments have arrived well before the original promised delivery date. Just my two cents' worth.
