m1 macbook air eye strain

Hi,

i bought an m1 macbook air. After five minutes of use my eyes hurt and feel stressed. This feeling will last for the rest of the day. My IPad 7 i use all the time for hours with zero problems.

I tried all sort of display options, brightness, resolution scaling, true tone and so on. Nothing seems to work. I tried a different M1 air, my eye problems stay the same.

So i guess it might have something to do with the used displaypanel. Can someone help me figuring this out? All i was able to find is that there are different types of ips panels.

Greetings
