CarPlay does not work after iOS 14.5.1 update

First, we'd need to ask you a few questions to get a better understanding of what's happening. Could you elaborate on how CarPlay is not working? Is it a feature that isn't working, or does your car not recognize that your iPhone is connected anymore? Can you tell us how you're connecting your iPhone to your car?

I am having same issue

I am connected via the same usb cable the Apple Music plays but only shows the track I am playing on the map view then I touch the Apple Music icon and it just stops playing the track

Updated to 14.5.1 plugged into my Jeep CarPlay all works fine except text message reading or replying it stops vocal and just runs reply stops listening

Same here, it only works in the map view. I think is software issue, they should release a 14.5.2 update

I deleted my car from my phone and forgot the phone on my car reinstalled and it now works

might have to do this after every IOS update but definitely cheaper than a new car !

I tried this. Siri still won’t read my messages. iPhone 11.

I can confirm that 14.6 fixes the iMessage in CarPlay issues

New update was available May 24th fir 14.6 and that corrected it.
