My power beats pro and case stay connected to my iPhone when in case and closed

Hi,

Im' having a couple issues. First, if I place my beats in my case and close the case, they still remain connected to my iPhone, even when I have them connected to another device. The only way I can seem to disconnect them from the iPhone is turn off bluetooth (which I don't want to do). When bluetooth is on, this is draining the battery on my beats and the case quickly. The second issue I have is that the right one charges when in the case and the case is open. But when I close the case, I can see in the iPhone that the right headphone stops charging. I did get an iPhone 12 around christmas time, but I'm not sure if that is when this started to happen, but it is a serious problem now. Can someone help? Thanks

Thanks for the reply ddemichele,

I you go to Settings > Bluetooth > Tap the info button on your Power Beats Pro, are you able to disconnect there, and stay connected? Also, have you tried forgetting the headset from those same settings?

I reset the headphones and it doesn't fix the problem. And really the problem is that the iPhone won't disconnect from the beats even when they are in the case and closed. Or, if I connect the beats to another device and the phone is nearby it won't disconnect from the phone so it is draining the headphones battery.
