Copying the fcpx bundle file

Can I simply copy the entire FCPX library file (name.fcpbundle) to another location as an archived copy? The media in the projects/events in the library file are consolidated so I would think that a simple copy would suffice.

Yes, if the media is consolidated into the library bundle.

Accidentally overwrote a library. Can't find the older version now. Where would FCP have backed up previous libraries? I was trying to clean up my finder folders - saw there were 2 versions of the same library. One was old with very little in it which had the suffix .fcpbundle. The one I'd been working on and wanted to save had no suffix. I meant to replace the one with the suffix (the earlier one), but accidentally replaced the new one and now the files are nowhere to be found. The new one should have been making backups somewhere but I can't find them.

Moving my Library from "Copy to library" to "Leave files in place" I've recently deleted and installed FCP again and I thought my settings would be synced automatically, so I've started a project and after a while I've realized all my media were imported using the default "Copy to library". How can I switch to "Leave files in place" for this particular Library?

How to properly send a Final Cut Pro X Library bundle back to the original sender? I have been sent a FCP Library bundle, which was created by another FCP user. In this bundle, it includes only proxy files. I have made a few changes and the size of the library bundle with all the proxies in it, is 32gb in size, and I wish to send the file back to the owner so that can colour grade and make their own adjustments to my work. The problem: The file is too big for me to send back and I want only to send back the project file, and NOT any proxy files, since they have the proxy file them selves, so there is no need for me to send it back with the files. Is it possible for me to send the project file back to the other person without the proxy files. I tried a YouTube method of File > Delete Generated Library Files and deleting proxy media, but it deleted ALL of the proxy media completely, from inside and outside the project. Fortunately, I had a back up of everything, otherwise my entire work would have been lost. I am using the latest version of FCP and so is the other FCP user. Thanks for reading

Thank you Tom for the help. I should have added that the reason I wanted to do it this way was because I have created an AppleScript to backup the file automatically.
