QuickTime stuck in portrait mode while using it to film from iPhone
My iPhone is connected to my MacBook Air via lightning cable. I open up QuickTime, start a new movie recording, and my iPhone screen shows up on my Mac - great! I rotate my phone to landscape mode and...QuickTime stays in portrait mode. Thinking I must be missing something, I search around and find that lots of others have run into the same issue and Apple's response is just that that is the way it is. That makes zero sense. Please at least acknowledge that it is an obvious issue and let us know if there is any plan to fix it!
And yes, I am aware that this is because the native iOS camera app doesn't support rotation. This is a *basic* function that should clearly be included in the camera app. Really??
