Podcasts Airplay and computer speakers simultaneously?

Hi. We've had the Podcasts catalyst app for a while now but there is no sign of a fix for the Airplay and multiple speaker issues. Is there any way to select an airplay speaker AND my computer as output, as we can do in Music.app (or iTunes which I am being forced to keep going).

I see we can select multiple Airplay devices now, as long as they are Airplay 2. Again, another limitation unique to the Podcasts app. I can listen to music all around my house, but not Podcasts if I use the special app. When will this be fixed?
