Apple’s News?

How does one turn off news from Apple in your emails. Space T-Mobile employees informed me you cannot turn off the unwanted mail but however due to experience with the local T-Mobile employees their knowledge is rather limited shall we say so I have zero faith in their knowledge and I’m sure there is someone out there that probably has this information that would be most helpful thank you very much.
