New update 14.5.1 has caused a malfunction in making and receiving phone calls. Does anyone have problems with this also. Totally disappointed in apple. Every time they make a new phone they have to make updates and subsequently creates havoc.

Update to iOS 14.6 which has been released since the original post I was having same issue iOS 14.6 fixed the issue for me

I have iPhone SE (2020) and this morning I noticed missed call notifications on my Lock Screen although phone wasn’t on silent and phone never rang or alerted me that anyone was calling furthermore a friend has an iPhone XR and on the phone with eachother I mentioned the issue to him and he said he has noticed the same thing…CarPlay works fine on my phone however

I have iPhone 4S iOS 9.3.6, iPhone 6 iOS 12.5.3, iPhone SE iOS 14.5.1, iPhone 8 iOS 14.5.1 and an iPad Pro iPadOS 14.5.1 and iPhone 12 Pro iOS 14.5.1. Prior to that, I had iPhone 3GS, which I have stopped using because it is carrier-locked.

I have been updating all these devices whenever a new iOS are released. I have never encountered any issue whatsoever after any update.

Me as well. We've owned so many iPhone's from 3G to the current iPhone 12 series, with many in-between. Not ONCE has any update caused an issue on any of our phones.

When making a call the person on the other end cannot hear me but I can here them? What’s going on? I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro. Is it the update 14.5.1 that’s causing it?

my daughter is also having the same problem, using the same model phone but a different carrier.

i install updates as they become available and closely follow beta programs forums for such updates so I usually am fully aware of what’s in the update itself before I even download it! I will never leave Apple as far as phones go I don’t really use a computer or tablet cause my phone does what I need it to just fine.

My phone has had so many problems since the update. I can't receive any calls and my bettery goes flat so fast it's outrageous. I am so annoyed at Apple why do they have to treat uses in this way. They disregard the older uses every time they release new products. It's an

unethical practice.

me too. Since this last update my calls keep dropping. Not getting texts from people for 24 hours Recent mail is not loading. What the ****.
