iOS 14 update caused 10 minute battery life
What I know is prior to installing iOS 14 my unplugged battery time would run about 5-6 hours.
After installing iOS 14 my unplugged battery life is about 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes unplugged at 100 percent the screen goes dark, no "Low Battery," warning, just dark.
Already tried holding both Home and Wake/Sleep button, confirmed no ghost apps running in background, tried back up, full delete and reset, and the result remains the same.
Pressing the Home button brings up the dead battery icon. Immediately plugging back in usually results in a restart and log in screen. Battery level is then yep, still 100 percent. Battery Life is at 99 percent.
Apple Support only keeps suggesting turning down screen brightness and other such useless advice.
I notice others have the same issue and the, "help," from the community is as useless as Apple's advice.
The only common variable among we who are reporting this is the installation of the iOS 14 update, decent battery life before that, zero battery life afterwards.
Seems the issue lies in iOS 14.
